5.25.08 - Recording (the last of) My Album!

Hey friends,
I just finished recording the rest of my debut EP, Only Me! I actually stayed in LA and got to record at Paramount Recording Studios in Hollywood.

This was especially exciting since lots of successful, talented recording artists (such as Pink, Celine Dion, Nelly Furtado) have recorded here. I ended up in Studio "B" (for Bianca)!

 We had the studio for two days, twelve hours each day.
Before the actual sessions, I met with stylist, Michelle Wendell of Chic Little Devil in downtown LA. She gathered some really cool clothes for me to try on for a few pre-session in-studio media interviews scheduled by my publicist, Christina, and manager, Rita B. I ended up choosing a VERY cute dress from Dallin Chase and a cool necklace/pendant from Vivian Westwood.

 Before the first recording session, I had a GREAT time being interviewed by GBTVonline.com, hollywoodliveandwork.com, and tomorrowpictures.tv. I want to thank the interviewers (Stacy, Deann, Alice, and Jonathan) for being so patient. (The day was hectic and everyone was pressed for time!) The whole process was motivating and exciting and I look forward to seeing the interviews online soon.
My producer, Christopher Favors, flew in from Atlanta and my vocal producer, Ms. Di Reed, guided me EVERY step of the way.

 My manager, Rita B., and project manager, Ms. Jasmine, made sure everything went smoothly and on schedule. We ended up completing two ballads, "So Caught Up" and "Foolish," which I co-wrote.

I am REALLY excited about all my songs and hopeful that everyone likes them as much as (if not more than) I do.
Even though it's a relief to have all the recording done, the work is JUST beginning. There are a lot of things that need to be done now to promote the single and the upcoming album release, so… I'll be busier than ever and on my way to see some of you VERY soon! I will keep you posted every step of the way.
